| This property is in a great location - close to major sites in the area & close to restaurants & entertainment. The room was very nice & all of the hotel staff we came in contact with were very pleasant and accommodating. |

| We stayed at the Empress Hotel in June and enjoyed it even though they are a little snotty I loved the beautiful hotel. We went to visit Buhtchart Gardens and you can not help but love it. I told my husbaNd I would like to bring our adult children here sometime. We decided to take a trip at Easter. One of my sons did not want to stay at the Empress because of the price. He researched heavily and found the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Victoria. The staff, the hotel and everything was more than wonderful, they were so kind and I appreciate the staff and all they did for us. The cleanliness of the hotel and the turndown service were superior. It was also close to all the restarants and shopping.

| Excellent hotel. Price includes nice breakfast. It is as represented, but we found too many small toiletries in boxes that are very wasteful.
This hotel needs to 'go green' with soap, shampoo and cond. dispensers. |

| Recently visited Victoria for a solo get away. The service at the hotel was excellent and the location was close to the harbour, shops, Museum, art galleries, cafes and pubs. Short or longer walking treks were easy ... if you get tired just come back to the hotel, refresh and go again. The room was well appointed with easy chair, large TV, wifi, frig, comfortable beds with lots of pillows, and lovely soaker tub. I booked a manicure at the spa and had great same-day service. I didn't mind paying for valet parking as the free breakfast offset that cost, and I didn't need my car as many unique restaurants and shops are nearby. A great place to stay ... my favourite in Victoria. |

| Great little hotel, very close to all amenities. Included good continental breakfast. On a quiet side street, but close to a nightclub, so can be a little noisy if you open your windows at night. |

| We've stayed at the Magnolia three times in total and each visit has been delightful. The location is excellent, the rooms are beautiful, the morning breakfast plentiful and the staff are professional without being aloof, friendly without being obsequious. Highly recommended. |
