Recent Hotel Grand Pacific Review: "I don't often write reviews, but the service at this hotel was so outstanding it prompted me to write one. The staff was not only extremely friendly, but bent over backwards to be helpful.
We arrived early (11 AM), and not only were we able to get our room, but the staff recommended a nicer room than we originally booked, at the same price! The room itself was terrific with a nice view, which was unexpected because we got a standard room at at a discounted rate.
The concierge was amazing! We asked for the best way to get to Butchart Gardens, and he gave a comprehensive list of options and tradeoffs, and his recommendation based on our constraints (which we took, and it worked out perfectly). The next day when he returned, he remembered us, and asked how the visit went. We then asked for advice on how to get to Vancouver, and again discussion of options and his recommendation. Perfect!
Our trip to Victoria, our first, was terrific, and the Grand Pacific was a big part of it. I highly recommend this hotel."
